Best Mannered Teacher

      I nominate my band director, Mr. Ronnie Sherlock, as Best Mannered Teacher.  He is band director of the Baton Rouge Area Youth Symphonic Band and has been my band director for two years.  I have played the trumpet and the French horn in his band.  He is always happy to see everybody and always puts the students first.  Mr. Sherlock also cares that the students learn and enjoy the music.  If someone needs help, he is there for him.  In his spare time, he helps us with other band music, such as for the LA Youth Orchestra and Honor Band.
